Jackie's Baby Shower...finally posted (2 months late)

Hard to believe that it's been over 2 months since my mom and I surprised Jackie with a baby shower...and that Macy has joined us outside of the womb.  =)  It was great fun actually being able to pull it all off with so many friends and family there.  Here are a few pictures from the shower:

Andi Dykstra (one of Matt and Jackie's friends) and Jackie - only 2 weeks difference in their due dates.  It's so not fair that some people (ummm...Jackie!) don't even look pregnant when they're 32 weeks pregnant!!!

Prayers

John's latest prayers have been ending like this:   

and God bless Aunt Jackie and the baby in her tummy, Miss Shonda and the baby in her tummy, and the baby that will be in Mommy's tummy. 

When asked about that statement, he said he wants to have another sister or a brother.  Ugh.

Yes, babies have been on John's mind a lot lately.  That was the theme in preschool last week, so he was asking all sorts of questions about when he was a baby.  It was fun to look back at his baby pictures (those are actually in an album!).

Where Emma Came From

My mom stopped by to say Happy Birthday to Emma tonight, and I took advantage of that by leaving and taking care of a few things at church. When I got home, Mom informed me that during John's bath, he said Emma came from Jerusalem. Then he changed his story...babies come from the baby store. Ahh...the random things he comes up with...
